TikTok Videos For Marketing Your Content

Option 1: Using raw video that you already created:

  • Make sure the video is under 30 seconds, 60 seconds or 3 minutes
  • Tiktok Max File size: 287.6 MB. For ads, the maximum is 500 MB.
  • Vertical videos work best on TikTok, but horizontal ones are also acceptable.

Step 1: On your cell phone app:

  • On phone app: Click the new icon (looks like a plus sign)

  • Click the upload icon

  • Select the video file, click NEXT, NEXT and NEXT again
  • Add a description to where it says: “Describe your video”
  • Add Hashtags
  • Optional: Tag friends
  • Optional: Add link (3rd part app links)
  • Under “More Options” Select Upload HD
  • Optional: Automatically share to: whatsapp, instagram, instagram stories, snapchat

NOTE: Before posting… we suggest adding a “thumbnail effect” called a COVER in TikTok.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANT BONUS: If you are a virtual assistant doing this for someone, put the video into google drive and hand them the following information inside of a calendar meeting request for the day they need to post it:

  • Calendar event: Post TikTok Video
    In the description of the calendar event, add this for your client:
    Click this video link to google drive from your cell phone: (include the link to the folder or file)
    Download the video to your phone
    Open tiktok and continue with Step 1 here
    Hand to client: Title/Caption
    Hand to client: Hashtags
